Pano HDR of a sunset in central Australia

"Pano HDR" sounds like about 6 hours of processing to me ;) how long did it take??

The first time I did a pano HDR I sticked together around 90 RAW shots for a total of 2GB... I spent all the afternoon on the experiment and my computer was almost melting :tears:
After I understood that with photomatix you can automate the mechanism, and it takes three minutes to setup... at that point you have time for a sandwich and a beer, and when you come back you can launch Stitcher Unlimited or PtGui or another pano software, and treat the images like normal shots. The only thing you need to do is manually setup the EXIF files, because the images lose those information with an HDR process... Another beer during the pano process and you're done!!! ;)

hahahahhaa :D
i've only tried HDR once, and it didn't work very well. it was all grainy and looked really really strange, and it was with photomatix (free version). oh well :)

very nice..... I like that pano but I think theres also a square crop shot hiding in there too! Like the dark saturated look.

Thanks Mate... actually I've both, and the crop is probably better, but at the end I uploaded the pano because I didn't have any in my gallery. Just trying to do something different all the time, you know...
